Le GREGOR, équipe de recherche de l'IAE de PARIS

Le GREGOR (Groupe de Recherche en Gestion des Organisations) est le laboratoire de recherche de l’IAE de Paris (EA2474) et l'équipe d'accueil du Master recherche "Etudes et théorie des organisations". Créé en 1992, il est composé à ce jour de 100 membres, dont 12 Professeurs, 4 Maîtres de Conférences Habilités à Diriger des Recherches (soit 16 directeurs de recherches), 13 Maîtres de Conférences non encore habilités 69 doctorants et 7 membres associés.

En tant équipe d'accueil, le GREGOR regroupe l'ensemble des enseignants chercheurs et chercheurs de l'IAE souhaitant s'investir dans une activité de recherche, ainsi qu'un certain nombre de membres "invités" ou "associés" issus d'autres établissements et/ou d'autres équipes de recherche.

Les axes de recherche du GREGOR

Au-delà du découpage classique et quasi disciplinaire qui correspond également aux grands domaines de spécialité des formations de Master de l'IAE (Ressources Humaines et Responsabilité Sociale de l’Entreprise, Marketing, Finance, Compabilité-Contrôle-Audit, …), un découpage thématique par "pôles" de recherche permet de structurer les activités et productions du GREGOR. Cinq axes peuvent ainsi être distingués :

  • Marques & Valeurs
  • Risques - Incertitudes - Organisations

Au sein de chacun des axes sont capitalisées les expériences et compétences acquises par les chercheurs du GREGOR sur ces sujets et sont régulièrement développés de nouveaux projets (En savoir plus…).

Le doctorat

Le Master Recherche et le GREGOR sont rattachés à l'Ecole Doctorale (ED 559).  L’École Doctorale de Management Panthéon-Sorbonne"regroupe les unités et équipes de recherche qui concourent à la formation des docteurs et les préparent à l’exercice d’une activité professionnelle dans le domaine des Sciences de Gestion.  

Le GREGOR accueille régulièrement une soixantaine de doctorants. Ces doctorants sont à la fois des professionnels en activité désirant réaliser une thèse, et des étudiants "classiques" issus d'une formation initiale, ce qui reflète la composition du Master Recherche de l'IAE de Paris (Formation continue et formation initiale). Par ailleurs, dans le cadre des partenariats avec des Universités étrangères, plusieurs étudiants étrangers s'inscrivent chaque année en thèse à l'IAE de Paris.

Les recherches individuelles et les publications

Les activités de recherche sont tout d’abord de nature individuelle. Chacun des membres de GREGOR poursuit sa propre recherche, réalise ses propres publications, qu’il soit enseignant-chercheur confirmé ou jeune doctorant. Quelques chiffres permettent d’en attester :
Plus de 250 publications en 5 ans (livres, participations à des ouvrages collectifs, articles dans revues avec comité de lecture) ; 158  thèses soutenues depuis 1995.

Les Chaires

La recherche en management entretient des relations étroites avec la vie et les pratiques des organisations au sens large, des entreprises en particulier : les chercheurs se nourrissent de l'observation et de l'analyse de ces pratiques, et les conclusions de leurs études viennent nourrir à leur tour les connaissances et comportements des acteurs.

Souhaitant institutionnaliser les relations entre recherche et organisations, l'IAE de Paris a entrepris de créer des Chaires de Recherche rattachées aux axes de recherche du GREGOR. Ces Chaires regroupent des représentants du monde socio-économique (entreprises, cabinets de conseil, etc.) et des chercheurs du GREGOR intéressés par une thématique particulière.

Les contrats de recherche

Le GREGOR a toujours fondé une partie de son activité sur la réalisation de contrats de recherche collectifs, passés avec des entreprises, des collectivités territoriales, des instances nationales et internationales. Ce mode de fonctionnement permet de créer une dynamique collective autour d’équipes de travail réunissant plusieurs chercheurs du GREGOR sur un thème de recherche commun. Les manifestations du GREGOR

L’activité du GREGOR s’articule autour de l’organisation de conférences de recherche où les membres de l’équipe viennent présenter leurs travaux, achevés ou en cours. Ces réunions de recherche sont complétées par des conférences invitées, assurées par des chercheurs extérieurs à l’équipe spécialistes d’un thème dans une autre université française, ou chercheur étranger invité à l’IAE.
